Empire Marine contracted to Hopper Construction for the initial dig of the new Sandspit Marina. The project encompassed a dig of 120,000m3. Empire Marine deployed a long reach digger, the Mina Campbell Tug, RHR barge and two self-propelled Split Hopper Barges to work on this project. Dumping of the dredging’s is a round trip of 113.20 nautical miles.
