Empire Marine has completed a contract for Balineau for the dig and removal of 65,000m3 of soft clay and 20,000m3 placement of rock with in Port Autonome, Noumea, New Caledonia. Empire Marine deployed the Soundcem II, a self-propelled Split hopper barge to undertake this project in association with a 100 Ton Balineau excavator.
